The Hillside
An Office Space for The Be Side
Industry City, Brooklyn, NY. Michael Warren, Fall 2019
Company Mission:
At the Be Side, we re-master and re-market music from the past, focussing primarily on albums from the 60’s and 70’s. The Be Side embraces the freedom and creativity of the period, while approaching our day to day tasks with collaboration and fun.
Concept:
Referencing the summer of love and connecting to the period of the music remastered by the Be Side, this project uses the hillside as a symbol of freedom and unity. The hillside connects both floors, promoting cross company engagement, socialization and fun. Meaningful interaction between workers is further promoted by the organization of workspaces into semi public team areas, organizing all private areas into a series of closed off focus zones.
